I've been ghostwriting nonfiction books for nearly a decade. Memoirs, business books, self-help guides, narrative nonfiction, wellness books. The common thread in all of them is simple: they all started as a conversation. Someone with a story or an idea, sitting across from me, saying "I don't know where to start."
That's my favourite place to begin.
My approach is built around listening. I don't hand you a template and ask you to fill in the blanks. I ask questions. I record conversations. I read everything you've written — even the messy bits — and I pull out the parts that sound most like you. Then I build a book around those.
I take on a maximum of 2–3 projects at a time because I don't believe in rushing something this important. Your story deserves attention, care, and a writer who actually gives a damn.

Who will own the book?
You will. 100%. Full rights and intellectual property transfer to you upon final payment. Your name goes on the cover, you keep all royalties, and I retain no rights to the work whatsoever.
Will it actually sound like me?
That's the whole point. I capture your voice through recorded interviews, voice notes, and anything you've already written. Early in every project, I produce a short voice calibration sample so you can confirm the tone feels right before we go any further.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length and complexity of the book. A 40,000-word memoir usually takes 4–6 months. A 60,000+ word business or narrative nonfiction book takes 6–12 months. I'll give you a realistic timeline in the proposal before you commit to anything.
Will you sign an NDA?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is non-negotiable in my work. I'm happy to sign your NDA or provide my own. Everything you share with me stays between us.
How does payment work?
I structure all projects in milestone-based payments. You never pay for something you haven't seen or approved. Typically there's an upfront kickoff payment, then payments tied to chapter deliveries and final delivery.
What if I don't have a draft or even a clear idea yet?
Perfect. Most of my clients don't. That's what the discovery process is for. We work together to find the story, shape the structure, and build something from the ground up. You don't need to bring a finished vision — just a willingness to talk it through.
